Dr. Dave Bishop: Advancing Ghana’s Community Development

Boston, MA / Accra, Ghana — Dr. Dave Bishop, CEO of Going 2 Ghana Travel & Tours, received an Honorary Doctorate in Global Partnership Leadership & Sports Management from Kennedy University of France. He is also scheduled to receive an M.B.A. in International Business at the university’s December convocation in Boston.

A dedicated philanthropist, Dr. Bishop serves as Development Chief in Ekroful, Ghana, leading projects that boost employment, support small businesses, improve infrastructure, and create youth programs that strengthen the town’s economy and social fabric.

“Development is a bridge to opportunity. Investing in people unlocks brighter futures,” Bishop said.

He is campaigning for a leadership role in Ghanaian development, promoting transparent leadership, community-centered policies, talent development, and international collaboration to bring resources and visibility to local initiatives.
